27 Inch 1000 Nits Outdoor Advertising LCD Module for Signage Systems

This 27-inch Full HD module combines 1000 cd/m² typical luminance, dual-channel 8-bit LVDS and a non-touch 16:9 format for advertising equipment.

Product Summary

The 1000 Nits Outdoor Advertising LCD Module provides a 27-inch 1920 × 1080 image area for commercial signage, information terminals and industrial equipment that must remain legible in strong ambient light. Its Full HD 16:9 format supports video advertising, maps, menus, status dashboards and public-information layouts without requiring the ultra-wide or square content formats used by specialized signage panels.

The standard configuration is rated at 1000 cd/m² typical luminance, uses a two-channel 8-bit LVDS interface and includes a WLED backlight. The module is non-touch and requires a matched controller, backlight drive, power system, enclosure and protective front structure.

1000 cd/m² Visibility for Advertising Content

Full HD Layout for Signage Media

The native 1920 × 1080 raster is suitable for standard Full HD video, digital posters, information boards and split-screen layouts. Preparing content at native resolution helps preserve small text, logos and image detail while avoiding scaling artifacts from lower-resolution media.

For viewing-distance approval, test the real font sizes and safe margins within the 597.6 × 336.312 mm listed active area. Advertising artwork should also account for the final bezel opening rather than using the full image boundary as a guaranteed visible zone.

Cover Glass and Reflection Control

A 1000 cd/m² panel can support high-ambient-light system design, but finished outdoor readability still depends on the complete optical stack. Cover-glass transmission, surface reflection, air gaps, optical bonding, installation angle and direct solar load can materially change perceived contrast.

The panel should therefore be evaluated behind the intended front glass. Anti-glare, anti-reflective or bonded structures may be reviewed where reflections would otherwise obscure text or video content.

Thermal and Power Planning

The listed power consumption is 35 W, but the test condition and value scope must be confirmed for the ordered configuration. Controller electronics, power conversion, communications hardware, fans, heaters and enclosure losses are separate system-level loads.

High-luminance operation also creates heat that must be removed from the panel and backlight structure. The finished enclosure should provide an approved thermal path and avoid trapping solar heat behind the front window.

Integrating the 1000 Nits Outdoor Advertising LCD Module

Dual-Channel 8-Bit LVDS Qualification

A dual-channel 8-bit LVDS label does not guarantee controller compatibility. Native timing, pixel clock, channel mapping, bit mapping, connector definition, voltage requirements and backlight-control signals must all match the production module.

Before releasing a cable or controller board, request the complete interface definition and verify the module with native Full HD test patterns. Color ramps, gray fields, fine text and motion content can expose mapping or timing errors that may not be visible in a static photograph.

Mechanical Data Requires Drawing Approval

The listed 597.6 × 336.312 mm active area and 611.5 × 335.8 × 13.2 mm outline contain a vertical-dimension conflict because the stated active-area height exceeds the stated module height. These values must not be used for tooling release without an approved mechanical drawing.

Enclosure design should also include connector position, cable bend radius, mounting clearances, ventilation and service access. A nominal 27-inch diagonal does not establish interchangeability with another 27-inch module.

Viewing Geometry and Non-Touch Architecture

The viewing-angle sequence is listed as 89/89/89/89°. Because the direction order is not defined, it should not be assigned to left, right, up or down in mechanical documentation until the approved specification establishes the sequence.

The standard configuration is non-touch. Interactive signage requires a separately qualified touch sensor, controller, cover lens and bonding structure, with corresponding checks for added thickness, reflection, light loss and interface routing.

Application Fit for Signage and Industrial Equipment

The 1000 Nits Outdoor Advertising LCD Module can be evaluated for commercial advertising machines, bus-station information boards, community-information displays, attraction inquiry terminals, charging equipment, express cabinets and vending machines. Industrial equipment can also use the Full HD canvas for data visualization and operator information where the 27-inch format fits the enclosure.

This component is not a complete weatherproof display. Outdoor deployment requires a qualified enclosure, front protection, sealing, thermal management, power conversion and mounting system. The 0°C to +50°C operating range is the confirmed standard range; wider-temperature configurations require separate approval.

Customization and Procurement

The standard public luminance value is 1000 cd/m² typical. Other luminance targets, wide-temperature versions, cover treatments, optical bonding, touch integration, LVDS cable definitions, controller matching and enclosure adaptation may be reviewed as project-specific configurations.

Custom configurations are generally reviewed from 500 pieces, subject to tooling requirements, material availability and the requested specification. Sample and standard-module quantities are confirmed separately.

FAQ

About 27 Inch 1000 Nits Outdoor Advertising LCD Module

What must be checked before connecting a Full HD LVDS controller?

The controller must match the complete electrical and timing definition, not only the 1920 × 1080 resolution. Confirm the two-channel 8-bit mapping, connector pinout, pixel timing, panel logic supply and WLED control requirements. Test native-resolution color ramps, gray fields and fine text before approving the controller PCB or cable.

Is 1000 cd/m² sufficient behind protective glass?

The 1000 cd/m² panel rating is a useful starting point, but it does not determine final readability by itself. Protective glass, reflection, air gaps, bonding, installation angle and solar load can reduce visible contrast. Evaluate the complete front stack under the intended lighting and viewing distance before approving an outdoor-facing enclosure.

Which dimensions should control the enclosure release?

An approved mechanical drawing must control the release because the listed values conflict. The stated active-area height is 336.312 mm, while the listed module height is 335.8 mm, which is not mechanically possible. Confirm the corrected outline, active-area position, connector location, mounting points and tolerances before producing tooling.

What does the listed 35 W power value include?

The 35 W entry should be treated as an unqualified module-level value until the test condition is documented. It may not include the controller board, communications hardware, conversion losses, heaters or fans. Request the panel and backlight electrical tables, then build the finished-system power budget around the selected luminance and ambient-temperature condition.

What changes when touch is added?

Touch requires a separate sensor, controller, cover lens and integration structure because the standard module is non-touch. The added stack can change optical transmission, reflection, thickness, thermal behavior and interface routing. Submit the touch technology, cover-glass thickness, bonding plan and enclosure drawing together with the 27-inch module for engineering review.

Need a custom solution or samples?
