The eDP Control Console Touch Display provides a 13.3-inch Full HD workspace for industrial equipment that must present operating data, maps, diagrams, alarms and touch controls on one interface. Full HD resolution provides sufficient pixel capacity for interfaces that combine several information zones. A control-console layout can place a navigation column, primary process view, alarm panel, status strip and touch controls on one screen.

Industrial consoles are not always viewed from one fixed position. Operators may stand, sit or approach the equipment from the side.

About 13.3 Inch eDP Control Console Touch Display

What must be checked before connecting this module to a 30-pin eDP host?

The complete eDP electrical and timing definition must be compared, not only the connector count. This module uses a 30-pin eDP path and a 1920 × 1080 native image format, but the lane count, link rate, voltages and pin mapping still require confirmation. Submit the host eDP specification and planned cable drawing before releasing the controller PCB.

Does the touch panel communicate through the eDP connector?

The touch system uses a separate I²C control path. The LCD image is delivered through the 30-pin eDP interface, while the ILI2511 touch-controller connection must be designed from its own pinout, voltage, interrupt and reset requirements. Do not assume that touch data is carried through the eDP connection.

Is 800 cd/m² sufficient for direct-sunlight use?

The 800 cd/m² value supports bright indoor and high-ambient-light environments, but it does not prove direct-sunlight readability in the completed system. Cover reflection, bonding, surface treatment and interface colors affect the final result. Test a representative assembly under the actual installation lighting before making an outdoor-readability claim.

Which dimensions should control the enclosure design?

Use the 293.76 × 165.24 mm active area for the visible window and the 308 × 183.45 × 7.85 mm outline for module clearance. The enclosure must additionally accommodate the bottom FPC, connector insertion, touch-controller components, adhesive and cable bend radius.

ILI2511 identifies the touch-controller implementation, while RM97030 is the stated display-IC identifier. These names do not independently establish the final firmware, initialization sequence, power sequencing or host configuration.
