Validate the Complete Front Window

Finished readability depends on more than panel luminance. Cover-glass transmission, external reflection, printed borders, haze, anti-reflective treatment, air gaps, bonding and installation angle all influence effective contrast.

Test the complete assembly under representative site lighting. A kiosk installed under a canopy, near a window or in direct sun may require different optical and thermal decisions even when the same panel size and resolution are used.

Use IPS Viewing Performance Correctly

The listed viewing-angle order is left, right, up and down. Qualification should include off-axis text, icons, dark-background graphics and video through the intended protective window rather than evaluating only a bare panel positioned directly in front of the observer.

Qualify the 30-Pin LVDS Connection

The WLED driver is not included, so the system design must provide a compatible backlight driver and confirm startup, shutdown, brightness control and fault behavior.
