3.5 Inch Square Touchscreen TFT LCD Display Module for Navigation
Its QVGA TN panel supports compact navigation interfaces, with optional I²C touch and flexible RGB/SPI host integration.
Product Summary
The Square Touchscreen TFT LCD Display Module is a compact 3.5-inch component for portable navigation, handheld controls and small embedded operator interfaces. It uses a native 320 × 240 QVGA raster, a 70.08 × 52.56 mm active area and a 76.9 × 63.9 mm LCD outline.
The standard display is a TN normally-white transmissive LCM with 300 cd/m² typical luminance, 400:1 typical contrast and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Touch is an ordered option rather than an automatic feature of every base LCD, and its communication path must be qualified separately.
The commercial square-style description does not change the native 4:3 image format. UI layouts should be prepared for 320 × 240 pixels rather than a 1:1 canvas.

Compact 4:3 QVGA Format for Navigation Interfaces
Square-Style Format and Native Raster
The compact outline supports navigation prompts, status icons, numeric data and small control menus without requiring a large enclosure. The 4:3 raster provides useful vertical workspace for embedded interfaces.
Application artwork should be created at 320 × 240 pixels. Scaling a square or widescreen layout into QVGA can distort icons and reduce text clarity.
TN Optical Behavior and 300 cd/m² Use
The 300 cd/m² typical luminance is intended primarily for indoor or controlled-light equipment. Final readability depends on the cover window, surface reflections and installation angle.
This configuration should not be treated as sunlight-readable or waterproof. Strong ambient light or weather exposure requires a separately qualified optical and protective assembly.
Six O’Clock Viewing Orientation
The specified view direction is 6 o’clock. The viewing-angle data is retained as the raw 60°/60°/50°/55° sequence because its directional order is not established. Evaluate the sample in the intended mounting orientation before enclosure release.
Integrating the Square Touchscreen TFT LCD Display Module
Digital RGB, SPI and CCIR Signal Modes
The module identifies digital RGB, SPI and CCIR601/656 signal options. These labels do not establish that every mode is available through the same pin assignment or that SPI replaces the parallel pixel bus.
Engineering approval should use the exact mode-selection definition, timing table and FPC pinout. The host must support the selected clock, synchronization, data-enable and color-data arrangement.
54-Pin FPC Qualification
A matching 54-pin connector does not guarantee compatibility. Confirm pitch, contact side, FPC orientation, interface-select pins, supply and logic levels, pixel mapping, synchronization polarity and backlight connections.
The 3.3 V panel supply must not be confused with the backlight-driver requirement. Panel logic and WLED driving are separate electrical domains.
Optional I²C Touch Path
When touch is ordered, obtain the touch technology, controller, I²C address, interrupt and reset definitions, touch FPC pinout, cover dimensions and combined drawing.
I²C carries touch-controller communication; it should not be assumed to carry the LCD pixel stream. Display and touch functions require separate host resources.
Mechanical and Backlight Planning
Active Area, Outline and Front Opening
The active image area is 70.08 × 52.56 mm, while the LCD outline is 76.9 × 63.9 mm. These values do not define the touch-lens envelope, bezel opening, FPC keep-out area or finished thickness.
Release the front frame only after reviewing the approved LCD and touch drawings, including connector access, bend radius, adhesive or gasket space and touch-stack isolation.
WLED Backlight Without Driver
The backlight is listed as a 6S1P WLED arrangement with a 10,000-hour life reference and no included driver. Obtain voltage, current, enable, dimming and protection requirements before PCB release.
Do not drive the backlight directly from the 3.3 V panel rail unless the approved electrical specification allows it.
Applications and Selection Boundaries
The Square Touchscreen TFT LCD Display Module is suitable for portable navigation units, handheld devices, PDA-style interfaces, compact equipment controls, portable test and service equipment and small operator panels after system qualification.
It is a component LCM rather than a finished monitor. HDMI, LVDS, eDP, MIPI DSI or USB-video hosts require a bridge/controller or a different native-interface module. Medical, vehicle-grade, waterproof and outdoor use require separate qualification.
Configuration and Customization
Project review may cover the touch-panel type and controller, FPC length and orientation, full 54-pin definition, RGB/SPI operating mode, brightness, backlight driver, cover construction, surface treatment, mechanical adaptation, controller-board matching, branding and packaging.
Custom configurations are generally reviewed from 500 pieces, subject to tooling requirements, material availability and the requested specification. Sample and standard-module quantities are confirmed separately.
Procurement Checklist
Confirm native 320 × 240 timing; the selected RGB, SPI or CCIR601/656 mode; complete 54-pin assignment; connector pitch, contact side and FPC orientation; 3.3 V panel supply and logic; touch inclusion and I²C definition; active and outline dimensions; final thickness and front opening; antiglare surface; 300 cd/m² lighting fit; six-o’clock orientation; backlight voltage, current, driver and dimming; temperature limits; sample criteria; quantity and annual demand.
