High-Ambient-Light Use
The 1000 cd/m² typical panel rating provides more optical output than a conventional indoor monitor panel and gives system designers a stronger starting point for bright commercial spaces. Final readability depends on more than the panel rating. Front-window transmission, surface reflections, display orientation, content contrast, ambient illumination and internal temperature all affect the image seen by the viewer. 30-Pin LVDS and Firmware Matching
The controller sends the display signal to the panel through a 30-pin, dual-channel, 8-bit LVDS connection. Matching pin count and resolution are not sufficient for compatibility. The approved configuration must also align in timing, channel mapping, bit assignment, voltage, cable orientation, backlight control and controller firmware.
The controller appears under two related references: VS-TY2660H-V661 and VS-TY2660H-661. Before production, confirm the physical board label, revision, firmware and exact cable supplied with the sample. The populated host-video connectors must also be verified from the selected board rather than inferred from the controller family name.
Separate 5.0 V and 12 V Power Domains
The LCD panel logic uses a 5.0 V typical input. The controller-board assembly requires a 12 V DC supply rated above 5 A. These are separate electrical domains.
Do not apply the controller input directly to the panel logic connection. Before first power-up, verify jumper positions, cable orientation, panel-voltage selection, LED-driver wiring, backlight enable, brightness control, grounding and the current capability of the external power supply.
OSD, Speaker and Standby Functions

Outdoor Protection Is a System Requirement
